Our marketing teams play a key role in delivering marketing activity across all platforms and understand what our consumers read, via research and analysing sales and web activity. Future has a wide variety of marketing teams to deliver support to the business and our brands.

 

Brand Marketing

Brand Marketing take responsibility for running integrated, multi-channel, results-driven marketing campaigns within the portfolio of magazines, websites, apps, video, brand extensions and events. In addition to campaign marketing, Brand Marketing also take responsibility for the tactical delivery of the gifting and packaging strategy for the magazine brands. They work directly with the publishing teams and alongside other marketing teams, including Direct Marketing, Trade Marketing and PR.

International Market Research

The Market Research team form part of our Insight & Intelligence Team, providing media insights to the business in the UK, US and Australia. Conducting hands-on primary research using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, the team work on projects across all brands and audiences, to identify and track key consumer and commercial insights and audience insights. These insights are used by the commercial, editorial, marketing and publishing teams, to ensure that our brands remain relevant for our readers and trading partners, and to help drive new and/or product development.

Trade Marketing & Circulation

Our Trade Marketing and Circulation team are responsible for news trade circulation & retail strategies, developing excellent relationships with key retail multiple groups and Future’s newsstand distributor. The trade marketing team are responsible for ensuring that our magazines are being sold in the appropriate retail outlets, driving sales through understanding of target consumer groups and developing strong relationships with our distributors, wholesalers and retailers.

Direct Marketing

The Direct Marketing team are responsible for all direct to consumer activity. This is a fast-paced and ambitious department who focus on identifying and championing opportunities for growth across both print and digital platforms. The team devise campaigns to generate subscriptions, gain more subscribers and retain our existing ones. As part of direct marketing, we have a dedicated E-commerce team who work closely with the brand marketing, editorial, publishers and logistics departments, to ensure that all new products, including magazine subscriptions, single magazines and merchandise, are available to buy online at MyFavouriteMagazines.co.uk.

Database Marketing and Marketing Services/Business Intelligence

The Marketing Services team provides analytical support to the business with an emphasis on the commercial arena, ensuring timely, accurate and actionable reports of insight and intelligence across all brands, both print and online. Our Database Marketing team deliver email marketing campaigns across both print and digital subscriptions and events, and provide support for the email platform used to deliver the campaigns.
