Editorial

Editorial employees are key to Future and its brands, and they make up our largest number of employees. Our publishing groups are divided into specialist subject areas, such as Sport, Entertainment, Auto, Creative and Tech, within which we gather together creative individuals with specialist subject know-how and professional skills in order to produce high quality, unique products.

Working within editorial, you could be part of a specific magazine, website or digital editions team, or work within a group that creates content for a specialist subject but across websites, digital products and apps as well as print!

Whatever the set-up, all of our teams have a mix of editors, writers, production (sub-editors) and designers. Some teams also have digital or community editors, whose roles include looking after specific social media and online community relationships, while others have video teams that creates content to broadcast to our digital platforms.

Our print and digital team sizes vary, as does the type of people in them, but one thing they all have in common is their passion for their subject, and their expertise in communicating it through any media channel. If you possess a passion for any of our portfolios, read any of our magazines or visit our websites, and are a talented designer, writer, sub-editor or editor then you could be part of Future’s hardworking and knowledgeable editorial team.
